GREAT authentic Mexican food for the MT and Wyoming area. I ordered 3 Tacos on a plate with a side of rice and beans and can't wait to come again!
Waaaaaay overpriced and the food was just ok.
Super good and cheap for west Yellowstone!
Long line worth the wait
Awesome food and great service!! Large portions perfect for supper and nourishment after a long day checking out Yellowstone. Wish I had this taco bus in my home town.
I have never been to Mexico, but according to what my Mexican colleagues said, this seems to be close to an authentic Mexican food place.
Long wait but totally worth it. We're from Pennsylvania and it's hard to find good mecican food and not only did we not expect to find it out here but found it made in the back of a bus! Chimichanga and tacos were amazing!
The bus theme is cool. The food was okay. Nothing outstanding. Fairly dry.
Good food good service the menu is really big but it doesn't tell you what any of the dishes contain
Im not sure why this place is so highly rated. We ordered three different items and the only plate worth anything was the tacos. Chile relleno and enchilada had no sauce and were virtually flavorless, a burrito that was supposed to come with sauce on top that was special ordered to not include veggies and cream on top was missing sauce and had said veggies. Rice and beans were unremarkable. Possibly if you are from a place without good Mexican food, this will do, but otherwise choose elsewhere. Additionally, it took about 50 minutes to get our food. I’ve never ordered at a truck or restaurant and had to wait so long.
Not very good. The taco truck in front of the park is better but it was closed when I went.
I’m shocked that such authentic and delicious Mexican food exists in this small town! Highly recommend.
Good food. Fast service. Perfect for a quick lunch.
Some seriously amazing food from a really cool setting (old school bus). They offer indoor and outdoor seating; we chose the inside and enjoyed the ambiance and Latin music flowing from the kitchen. They do a fabulous job taking care of customers quickly with a friendly smile and delicious food.
Y’all!!!! Tacos are LIFE and this bus has it all!!Authentic Mexican food at a great price. You can eat inside the truck and enjoy their flat screen TV or sit outside and enjoy the sun.The offer a HUGE spread of choices.Portion sizes are super fair for the price.
The food is made cheaply with canned, processed food. It's also incredibly overpriced priced. The reaturant-in-a-bus is cool. That's it.
I ordered the steak tacos and they were delicious, with just the right amount of heat. Definitely recommend.
Pretty good tacos...fast service
Amazing tacos!!! I got the steak and my sister got the chicken...they were both absolutely delicious. Other members of my family got other things...they said it was good, but not super flavourful. Definitely get the tacos! The workers are super nice and helpful! It is a little expensive, but you should totally get the tacos at least once while you are in West Yellowstone.
It was terrible the service was awful they took forever to serve and they dont give sauce and they only give you one 1 tortilla and the tacos had no flavor and its so expensive for a bad place
Food here a delicious and so was the customer service. Alberto was so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend.
Crazy good food!! Best we had while in the area for a week if that explains why you should give their food a try
Was skeptical about ordering dinner from a bus, but we were not disappointed. Pleasantly surprised by seating on the bus, but absolutely blown away with the food. Everything we ordered was delicious- mexican burrito, steak tacos, chicken quesadilla. Service was fast and friendly. Will recommend to anyone coming to West Yellowstone.
I guess if you don't know or have tried good Mexican food you will like this place. Terrible food. Carne asada had ZERO seasoning. Spicy pork was overcooked and dry. Never again. Plus the wait time was a little unreasonable. Please go elsewhere.
It took more than one hour to get our food, it was overpriced.Food had no flavor, not going back again. I will spend my money somewhere else..
Good food guy was so nice didn't have anywhere to eat her opens up grill he was so nice got us some good food
I can't say enough great service and the food was outstanding. This is authentic Mexican food with fair prices. My first time here and coming back for seconds...
Our food was subpar. Rice was not cooked and crunchy, our burritos were all sour cream beans and crunchy rice. I would not eat here again the other taco bus down the street is way better.
Amazing food and cool little atmosphere. Plus they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions. When asked about vegan options they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Not judgmental like one can often encounter when asking about such things. And of course it was delicious too
Lorry mercy. Let's break it down like... Las Palmitas is the whale bomb and you can take that to town! I be like, I could live in this bus, yo. I had the Enchiladas Colorado's and a beef and spicy pork taco. Couldn't eat it all, so it was my dog's lucky day, but I will go back to West Yellowstone just for Las Palmitas. If only I could get food like this at home, bro. I would be fat and jolly like ole Mr. St. Nicholas. Frrealz. Jam on, Palmitas bros!
Nice cute place. The food truck look really brings in the feel. The food can improve as it has potential
This place is not your typical West Yellowstone restaurant. It is basically a retrofit bus with a kitchen in the back and benches in the front. The interior can easily get crowded by there is additional seating outside. The food is delicious and is easily the most authentic Mexican to be found near Yellowstone National Park. The prices are also much lower than most restaurants in the town. This place is easy to miss when you're driving by, but it's worth stopping by for a great and affordable lunch on your way to the park.
Best Mexican food we've ever had. Authentic, not like the ones that try to be in New York City. Never thought we'll come across this in a somewhat touristy town of West Yellowstone. Went there 2 days back to back during our stay in West Yellowstone. My favorite was the shrimp tostada ceviche. Out of the world !!! Camarones Rancheros was great too and so we're the tacos and chimichangas. The restaurant is actually a bus with seating inside and on the outside. Don't let the crowd here put you off. We didn't have to wait for more than 10-15 mins for food to arrive. Wished we had more days in Yellowstone...will miss this place !
I know there are different mexican traditions, however, this was not the good mexican food we are well acquainted with. Everyone should know how to make good chicken enchiladas and good rice.
This was a great choice to eat on the main street in West Yellowstone. My family walked the whole street and almost gave up on a place to eat when we can apon this place. Everyone loved the food and it was a great place to get dinner after a long day at Yellowstone.
This was the worst place I do not recommend this place. I give 1 star because I can't go lower then 1 star. Really Disappointed
Very authentic and delicious! A must stop before heading into West Yellowstone!
Best tacos in West Yellowstone!
Seating in bus only 16 people, but was a nice day out so the outdoor seating was fine. Not too long a wait. Food was pretty good.
This taco bus is incredible! The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. Truly authentic Mexican food. Fresh ceviche! Would totally come back.
Great food and service even when it is super busy. A few different seating areas inside and out to accommodate your needs. A super fun place to get some tacos while experiencing West Yellowstone. Oh yeah, it looks like a bus. It's the taco bus.
Friendly staff, good food. Fair pricing.
I was really surprised to find a true Mexican restaurant in West Yellowstone, MT. However, Las Palmitas was such a present surprise. The employees were so nice and helpful and the service was quick. The burrito was delicious and my al pastor tacos were alright. The pork was dry which is why I gave it a 4 and I really wish they had pineapples with it.
Taco bus. Nice suprise, solid Mexican food
Food was good but it took 40 minutes to get my 2 tacos 😒
Day 1- everything extra hot, not able to follow the directions.Day 2 - gave half cooked rice. Very disappointed.
We had two 3 taco orders, carnitas and adobada. The combo plate came with beans and rice. The food was very good and the staff was super friendly. The location was interesting as it is a bus converted into a restaurant with the dinning outdoors only (due to Covid-19).If you are in the mood for Mexican food in West Yellowstone I highly recommend Las Palmitas.
My food was cool and it wasnt what i ordered. Not what i thought it would be... was disappionted
Way over priced for the quality and portion sizes. You’re better off just going to a REAL Restaurant, not aN over-priced run down school bus.
The Hong Kong ice cream was in an actual waffle and I dont like waffles 😐
